Since opening its doors, Lake View Credit Union has grown to $290 million in assets and over 12,000 members. The opportunity: Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will champion our future as a highly effective, relevant and sustainable credit union that continues to lead in our communities.
You will be a proven leader with a track record of successful strategic execution in financial services. You are a consummate relationship builder and mentor, and naturally draw upon the wisdom and capacity of your employees, Board members, clients and community to grow your organization and benefit your members. In the coming five+ years you will:
- Lead Lake View to be forward thinking and generate innovative products and services;
- Enhance and build on our high standard of service to our members and further develop the profile of the credit union in the communities we serve;
- Coach our executive management team to continue to evolve our culture of service, accountability and employee engagement throughout the organization;
- Sustain our exceptional record of sound financial management and maintain our asset strengths.
You have a comprehensive knowledge of financial management and control while also considering yourself to be an innovative leader. You are familiar with the operating environment of financial institutions in Canada and are abreast of relevant regulatory, technological and social developments and trends. You have significant executive leadership team experience in financial services, preferably including an executive role in a credit union.
You enjoy the collaborative aspects of leadership and have demonstrated your ability to build shared success by setting and achieving challenging goals with your team. You are an energetic and outgoing person and you welcome the demands of being a visible leader in our communities.
You bring at least 8 years’ financial industry experience in progressively senior management positions or an equivalent combination of education and experience to this role, and have completed post-secondary education in a business related discipline.
In past roles you have consistently sustained highly trusting and open professional relationships with key stakeholders.
