We are seeking an experienced Digital / UX Developer to join our Digital Services team. As a successful candidate you bring honesty and integrity along with a deep understanding of how to ideate, design, create, and improve interfaces, events, and environments to create an exceptional experience. In this role, you will enable users to seamlessly consume digital products and services across multiple touchpoints. You are comfortable storyboarding, designing, and creating digital UX with the ability to combine the art of design with the art of programming.

You will report directly to the Director of Digital Services and will play a key role in building Digital /UX services for Atlantic Credit Unions. You will work with the League Data Team and our integration partners to create frictionless, member-centric experiences and services in a collaborative environment. Ideally, you bring years of experience delivering quality solutions in an Agile Delivery environment with additional experience in a bi-modal delivery model.


League Data is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Atlantic Credit Union System, providing enterprise information technology services and support to 46 credit unions in 130 locations across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. Our focus is to provide fully integrated technology solutions that deliver an exceptional credit union member experience while optimizing administration and operational costs.


To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Providing relevant digital and UX consultation with clients;
  • Experience working in a DevOps and agile delivery operating model;
  • Client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery;
  • HTML5 and CSS3;
  • Comfortable with JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, etc.;
  • Comfortable with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX;
  • Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop for image editing / creation;
  • Comfortable with code versioning tools such as SVN, Git, etc;
  • Aware of and can apply SEO best practices;
  • Familiarity with Digital Marketing Platforms (MarketingCloud, Mailchimp, Hubspot, etc.)
