Director of Sales and Operations
January 19th, 2012 by JMcIsaacEagle River Credit Union with branches in 6 locations across Newfoundland and Labrador is actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Director of Sales and Operations who will be directly accountable for the daily operations of the branches and meeting established sales goals. Reporting to the CEO, the successful incumbent will lead a team with over 20 employees and have seven direct reports including Branch Managers, Branch Supervisors, Marketing Specialist, and a Retail Services Administrator; and, work with his/her staff to ensure that each customer-owner has an exceptional experience, and that the staff effectively evaluates and services the customers’ total financial needs. This position requires strong leadership ability in the areas of customer relationship development, retail sales, and employee development and retention.
On a daily basis, this person will be required to solve complex problems while balancing priorities to achieve best outcomes for both the branches and our customers. This high energy and results focused Director of Sales and Operations will be an expert in supporting all aspects of Branch performance. Additionally, the incumbent will work as a change agent; engaging various departments while working through process changes and issues resolution in a collaborative manner, and working to create a high-performance culture that specifically and intentionally differentiates us from the competition.

Critical Skills, Experience and Competencies
- A thorough knowledge of Credit Union Operations with a minimum of 8 -10 years of proven management experience.

- A candidate who is familiar with rural Newfoundland and Labrador community and marketplace would be beneficial.
- Ability to travel to either/all of the 6 branch locations as required.
