Financial Services Officer (Montague Branch)
Provincial Credit Union Limited is looking for a Financial Services Officer (FSO) to join our team in Montague. This is a full-time, permanent position. Provincial Credit Union is a full-service financial institution with approximately $480 million in assets, more than 14,500 customers, 65 employees and 4 branches located in Charlottetown, North Rustico, Stratford, and Montague.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Financial Services Officer (FSO) is responsible for the providing excellent member service through the effective promotion and administration of Credit Union products and services specific to lending and investments. You will interview loan and mortgage applicants (in person or virtually), analyze financial information, assess credit, and approve loans and mortgages within approval limits. You will actively assess the member’s full financial position to proactively recognize investment and referral opportunities as well as recommending additional products from within the Credit Union.
The successful candidate will have:
- Three to five years of experience in credit in a financial institution or an equivalent combination of training and experience in credit
- Completed a certificate or diploma in Business Administration
- A Mutual Fund License or one must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
