Member Services Representative, Progressive Credit Union, Woodstock, NB

Progressive Credit Union is currently accepting applications for the contract position of Member Services Representative to provide high quality counter and telephone service to current and prospective members of the credit union.

The Position:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, Woodstock, the Member Services Representative will be responsible for:

  • Processing Member transactions at the counter
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities within existing portfolio or through referrals
  • Opening accounts
  • Promote and complete the sale for the full range of deposit and investment products
  • Cross sell all credit union products
  • Solicit new members
  • Answer questions and assist members in making the most effective usage of product and service offerings
  • Assist and back-up other team members and complete other duties as assigned.

The Person:

The successful candidate will have successfully completed a High School diploma plus have up to two year’s related experience and/or training: or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  The incumbent will also have:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Passion for member (customer) service
  • Strong time management skills

Compensation:
