Member Services Support (MSS) Administrative Assistant

Reporting to the Manager of Member Services Support, the Member Services Support (MSS) Administrative Assistant is responsible for carrying out an administrative function in support of CUA’s overall operations.  The tasks encompass member-based activities to ensure compliance with CUA’s Loan Policy and related procedures as well as providing required information for the completion of internal and external audits in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.   This includes reviewing lending files for proper documentation, administering and processing all loan renewals, completing loan applications within the banking system, reviewing various reports in a timely and accurate manner and providing administrative support to the branch network and other departments within corporate office.

You solve problems quickly and manage the workload independently with effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.  You deliver a high service standard to internal customers as well as to external individuals or organizations by responding accurately, completely and in a timely fashion.  Your attention to detail and service focus make you a valuable member of the team.

Education/Experience:    

  • Strong working knowledge of the loan origination system.
  • A good knowledge of loan and mortgage underwriting procedures and policies.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Previous banking experience, including in loan and mortgage administration, would be an asset.
