The project manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of the key strategic projects that support League Data’s roadmap. Reporting to the Director, of Corporate Projects, they will work as a key leader within the project management office to further the company’s project management skills and competencies.

Responsibilities will include:

» Developing project charters, project management plans, and project schedules.
» Maintaining and reporting project timelines, risks, and successes as per established processes
» Ensuring proper change, scope, risk, and expectation management
» Building and managing relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
» Managing the time and effort of the project team
» Providing budgetary management updates, accurate forecasting, progress reporting against milestones and diligent application of change management processes
» Identifying and managing project risks and issue through collaboration with, stakeholders, and team members
» Furthering the project management practices and knowledge within the company


League Data is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Atlantic Credit Union System, providing enterprise information technology services and support to 46 credit unions in 130 locations across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

• Able to employ a variety of project management methodologies (agile, waterfall, iterative) as necessary;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills;
• Industry expertise in Financial Services and /or IT is preferred;
• Strong problem solving and decision-making;
• Experience working in collaborative, team led environment;
• Ability prioritize competing demands and deliver strong results;
• Experience within the financial or technology industry considered an asset;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing medium to large scale projects in a complex environment.
