Atlantic Credit Unions Accepting Donations for Atlantic Floods 2016 Relief Campaign
In light of the recent torrential rain and wind storm that caused severe flooding in Cape Breton and Newfoundland, Atlantic Canadians are looking for ways to help. Atlantic Central, on behalf of Atlantic credit unions, has offered participate in a donation collection campaign to assist the Canadian Red Cross with their Atlantic Floods 2016 Appeal.
Donations may be made in person at any participating credit union in Atlantic Canada, or directly to the Canadian Red Cross. To find a credit union near you, please click here and search for the credit union by name, community, or postal code.

- Send a cheque, payable to the Canadian Red Cross and earmarked “Atlantic Floods Appeal” to:

Tax receipts will be issued by the Canadian Red Cross for individual donations of $20 or more, and we advise donors that the receipts will not be issued until after the close of the Canadian Red Cross campaign. Although our campaign is set to accept donations until November 2nd, the Canadian Red Cross may close the relief campaign later than this date.
