An account has been set up at Bergengren Credit Union to collect donations in support of Cpl. Kate MacEachern as she walks to raise awareness for those soldiers living with physical and mental injuries. Cpl MacEachern is taking this challenging journey to raise awareness for those soldiers living with physical and emotional injuries whose journey home did not stop after deployment. Her 510 km journey began in Oromocto, NB on June 4th, and she will pass through Gagetown Village, Salisbury, Moncton, Memramcook, Sackville (NB), Amherst, Oxford, Cobequid Pass, Truro, Salt Springs, New Glasgow, Trenton, and Stellarton; ending in her hometown of Antigonish, NS on June 22nd.
All proceeds will go to the Soldier On program which provides resources and opportunities for serving and retired Canadian Forces personnel with a permanent or chronic illness or injury.
