Atlantic Credit Unions Accepting Donations for Canadian Red Cross NB Flood Relief Campaign

As more details emerge regarding the recent massive flash flooding experienced in Perth-Andover and other New Brunswick towns, Atlantic Canadians are looking for ways to help. Atlantic credit unions have been working with the Canadian Red Cross to assist them with their flood relief efforts, and are now accepting donations for the New Brunswick Flood Relief efforts.

Donations may be made in person at any credit union in Atlantic Canada or directly to the Canadian Red Cross. To find a credit union near you, please click here and search for the credit union by name, community, proximity to your current location or postal code.

To donate directly to the Canadian Red Cross, you can:

  • Donate online at
  • Call 1-800-418-1111
  • Contact your local Red Cross office

Please note: Cheques mailed to the Canadian Red Cross National Office should be made payable to the Canadian Red Cross, earmarked “NB Spring Flood 2012”, and sent to 170 Metcalfe Street, Suite 300, Ottawa ONĀ  K2P 2P2.

Tax receipts will be issued by the Canadian Red Cross for individual donations of $20 or more, and we advise donors that receipts will not be issued until approximately 8 weeks after the close of the Red Cross campaign. Although, credit unions will be accepting donations up until May 15th, the Red Cross may close their campaign beyond this date

Atlantic credit unions wish to thank all donors for their support for this important cause. If you have any questions, please contact us at
