Credit Unions Host Regional Food Drive

CREDIT UNIONS HOST FOOD DRIVE ACROSS ATLANTIC REGION

2012 is the International Year of Co-operatives.

When:                          October, 2012

Why:                             October 14-20 is Co-op Week and October 18 is International Credit Union Day.

Who:                             Select credit unions in Atlantic Canada

During the month of October, the following Atlantic credit unions and associated companies will be co-operating to host a region-wide food drive. Credit unions are committed to the well-being of communities, and recognize that hunger is a serious issue.

To thank members who donate, each donation brought in will earn a ballot into a regional draw for $727, in recognition of the more than 72,700 Atlantic Canadians assisted by food banks last year.
