On November 7, 2012, Sydney Credit Union was awarded the prestigious 2012 Atlantic Business Ethics Award in the 16-50 employee category. The award is granted by the Better Business Bureau of the Atlantic Provinces in recognition of businesses that go beyond the average in maintaining high standards of ethical behavior. Businesses are evaluated in the areas of responsibility, ethical decision making, ethical initiatives, ethical leadership and environmental sustainability.
