2012 Photo Contest Winners

Winning Photos Selected for 2013 Atlantic Credit Unions Calendar

The 2012 Photo Contest came to a close in July, with approximately 600 great photos being submitted. Making choices was very difficult, with the following 12 photos finally chosen to be displayed in the 2013 Atlantic Canada Credit Unions Calendar:

  • Parade, Baie Sainte-Marie, NS – submitted by Collette LeBlanc, Caisse populaire de Clare
    (Each summer during the Clare Acadian Festival, a parade of boats decorated in blue, white, red and yellow sail Baie Sainte-Marie between Meteghan and Saulnierville wharves from early evening til dusk.)
  • Morning Glory, Cape Breton Highlands, NS – submitted by Jacy Kay Lewis, Caisse populaire de Clare
    (Mother and young bull moose having an early morning drink at their watering hole in the Cape Breton Highlands.)
  • Winter Majesty, Brudenell, PEI – submitted by Dale Murchison, Montague Credit Union
    (This red oak tree, located in Brudenell, PEI, is estimated to be 150 years old. The red oak is the provincial tree of PEI.)
