AgriInvest Savings Account
Growing Forward with Your AgriInvest Savings Account
The AgriInvest Account is a savings account for agriculture producers that provides flexible coverage for small income declines up to 15% and supports investments that help mitigate risks or improve market income. Benefits are calculated on the basis of allowable net sales. This program replaces the coverage for margin declines of less than 15% previously covered by the Canadian Agricultural Income Stabilization program (CAIS).
Participants can make a deposit into their AgriInvest account and receive matching government contributions. Starting in 2010, participant’s deposits can be made at participating financial institutions.
