Member Services Support Administrative Assistant (Credit Management)

 

Reporting to the Supervisor of Credit Management, the Member Services Support (MSS) Administrative Assistant is responsible for the administrative function of CUA’s credit and delinquency management activities related to the lending portfolio.  Key accountabilities are proactively contacting CUA’s personal and commercial members as well as administering collection activities for the personal and commercial loans portfolio.  In carrying out this role, the position adheres to established collection processes, monitors and pursues timely repayments, completes required reports and manages the member experience in a manner that is aligned with CUA’s brand.

 

Attributes:

As the successful candidate, you have experience in delinquency management and understand the processes to support timely repayment.  You have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage time and efficiently complete tasks. You solve problems quickly and effectively manage the workload independently with effective interpersonal, verbal (telephone) and written communication skills.  You have knowledge of financial products and services.  Your attention to detail and service focus makes you a valuable member of the team.

 

Education / Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma, or an equivalent combination of training and experience within the financial services sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs, including Excel.
  • Experience with delinquency management, ideally in the financial services sector.

 

This is a full-time position offering competitive benefits and compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications. A flexible work arrangement, including a hybrid work model, is available for this position.
