Training Officer
Reporting to the Manager, Member Services Development, the Training Officer is responsible for the delivery of training and development programs for the Member Services group. The programs focus on member-facing operations in the branches, Commercial Centre and Customer Contact Centre, and include the new hire orientation program. To execute this responsibility, the Training Officer carries out all logistical requirements to arrange for the training as well as delivers the prescribed programs. In addition, the position completes the defined evaluation process, assesses results and brings forward recommendations for enhancements to the Manager.
Attributes:
As the successful candidate, you have experience in training, coaching and/or employee skill development. You have knowledge and experience with the systems, processes and procedures within CUA or within the Atlantic credit union system that would enable you to effectively deliver the appropriate training programs. You have the ability to multi-task across a number of areas of responsibility, leveraging strong prioritization skills. Your superior presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, enable high performance and positive training outcomes for participants.
Education/Experience:
- University degree or college diploma in a related discipline and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the credit union sector and knowledge of day-to-day operations, including typical policies and procedures.
