Coady Award for Community Involvement
The Coady Award celebrates the many ways that credit unions give back to their communities.
The award is named after Dr. Moses Coady, a pioneer and key founder in the national co-operative movement whose vision of independence and fairness shaped co-operatives and communities in Atlantic Canada.
Each year, the esteemed Coady Award honours the Atlantic credit union or caisse populaire that best exemplifies leadership, in the areas of co-operation, volunteerism, education and environmental sustainability. The award (originally known as the Merit Award) has been presented annually since 1954, with the winner being selected by the Co-operative Social Responsibility Committee of Atlantic Central’s Board of Directors.
If you have a question or comment relating to the Coady Award please send them to be sent directly to CSR@aclsm.ca.
